The winner of the 12 week $11k Motatapu MTB fitness makeover is mother of two Rachel Wallace. Rachel has never done a sporting event like this in her life and is looking forward to the challenge. Motatapu cannot be run without the help and support of a large team of volunteers. If you are keen to get involved or know someone that would be, we would love to hear from you. Check out our volunteer page for more information.

Competitor transport - filling fast

Transport options are available to book from the online shop, seats are limited and there are only a few spaces left on some of the trips. Transport will be available to purchase until January 31st, unless sold our prior. To view and purchase the different options - click here.

A 10-week Arrowtown.com 15km Miners Trail has been added to the event website (login to your profile and click on training to view), this well help make sure you cross the finish line with a big smile on your face!

Bike Checks coming soon! Get your local bike store involved

Your local bike shop can apply to become an official Motatapu Bike check retailer, if you want them to be involved simply send them this link - www.iconicadventures.co.nz/motatapu-home/motatapu-mountain-bike/preparing/bike-gearchecks/ at the bottom of the page is an application form that needs to be completed by the Bike Retailer. Stores need to apply by Tuesday 31st January.
