FINISHING THE RACE

Transponders
Once you enter the finisher’s marquee, a competitor only area, there will volunteers available to assist you in taking off your transponder. All transponders must be returned at the finish line or you will be marked as DNF (Did Not Finish) and may be subject to a $50 replacement charge.
Lost/Broken Transponders
If you lose your transponder be sure to tell a Motatapu Timing Official as soon as you can after finishing to ensure that you have an accurate time and are not marked as DNF. If your transponder falls off, and you manage to retrieve it, have it out as you cross the finish line to ensure that your time is recorded. Any lost transponders may be subject to a $50 replacement charge.

Everyone who completes the Motatapu event will be rewarded with an official Motatapu UDC Pink Pilates drink bottle and Yunca finisher’s key ring.
